The Reason for This Directory!

As a past owner of a small home based business, I experienced firsthand the difficulties and expenses involved in trying to compete with bigger companies in the marketplace. In addition, I also understand the advantages of marketing through referrals. Having presented seminars on "The Power of Referral Marketing" for the past five years, I understand the tremendous impact that referrals have. I also know that anyone in a busy and stressful career rarely has the time to research and find businesses that can enhance their professional and personal lives. After being asked consistently "Do you know who?..." or "Do you know where?...", I decided it was time to combine internet marketing with referral marketing.

My Referral Directory is free to the public, and members of the Directory are only charged a small fee to have their business information, website address and email address right on their listing, along with their personalize description of their business. Each member MUST be willing to give recommendations from two past clients who agree to accept calls from potential customers. These names will not be publishes on the Directory, but accessed through our company or the vendors themselves. Some categories are basic, and some are very specific and/or unusual. As the Directory grows, the number of categories will also grow. My Referral Directory is specific to the Chicagoland area at the current time.

If you know someone in business that is "referral-worthy", please let them know about this Directory. It's usefulness will grow as more people and more locations are added. My sincere wish is to help small businesses grow by providing an internet platform they can use to let more people know they exist.
